Little Foxes outdoor PRESCHOOL

Let nature be your teacher.

William Wordsworth

our pre-school

Welcome to our brand new preschool for children aged 2.5-4 years old!  We were very excited to launch our second site, based in the beautiful Westbury Wildlife Park Foundation in BS9, which opened in January 2024, Monday to Thursday term time only.  Our session times are 8am to 2:30pm on each of those days.  Our day starts at our very own private woodland camp within the Wildlife Park.  We spend our days based between there and exploring all of the wonderful features and areas within the Wildlife Park.

Our exciting new base has opportunities for bug hunting, den building, foraging, loose parts play, a tool area, mark making, fires and so much more!  Within the park there are opportunities for pond dipping, nature scavenger hunts, picnics, and beautiful stream side adventures. We have a dedicated toileting area and a hand washing station.

We strive to instil a community ethos within everything we do, welcoming friends and families to regenerate and improve our environment and site every term. We are really proud of what we've achieved!

As a parent you'll get regular updates and photos on your child's day via a secure online journal called Blossom. The children enjoy wholesome snacks, drinks and lunch in the forest and we have a cosy indoor base for shelter and play during the colder months.
